Backstreet Boys announce new album release

Backstreet Boys are to release their new album In A World Like This in the UK on 28th July.

The album marks the first album release featuring all five original members of the group – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson – since 2005’s Never Gone. It will be preceded by the title track which is released as the album’s lead single on 21st June.

For In A World Like This, the group has worked with producers Martin Terefe, Max Martin, Morgan Reid & Prophet, Dan Muckula and Justin Trugman. The album was recorded in London and Los Angeles.

ā€œWe always want to top our previous albums. That’s always our objectiveā€ says Carter. ā€œAll five of us were determined to create an album where every song could be a single.ā€ Backstreet Boys did just that. In A World Like This captures unified voices making the most vital music imaginable, and five talented artists creating influential, unforgettable pop. ā€œOur goal is always to push ourselves as much as possible,ā€ adds AJ McLean. ā€œWe want Backstreet Boys to keep setting the template and raising the bar.ā€
