The BRIT Awards 2013 took place last night at London’s O2 Arena presented by comedian James Corden.
As always with the BRITs there were a few surprises amongst the winners. Ben Howard picked up both the British Breakthrough Act and British Male Solo Artist awards whilst Frank Ocean walked away with International Male Solo Artist award.
Unsurprisingly Emeli Sande picked up by the British Female Solo Artist and MasterCard British Album of the Year awards. One Direction were the recipients of the first ever BRITs Global Success Award.
Adele’s award-winning streak continued as she picked up British Single for her James Bond theme Skyfall.
Performances last night came from Muse, Tobbie Williams, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Ben Howard, Mumford & Sons and Emeli Sande. All performances are available on iTunes now with all proceeds from the first month’s sales going to War Child.
