Anthea Turner has credited Dancing On Ice for giving her the most ‘amazing’ bum of her life.
The 52-year-old TV presenter told ITV1’s Lorraine, ‘The toning of the body – ice skating – it’s skater bum, it’s amazing. I don’t care even if I crash out on Sunday, I have had three months of the best bum I’ve ever had since I was somewhere in my twenties. In fact, even in my twenties it probably wasn’t this good.’
Anthea is due to dance for the first time on tonight’sDancing On Ice live show. She told Lorraine that she’s been struggling with her rehearsals due to her dyslexia. ‘I think my biggest problem has been, and we’ve spoken about it, I am dyslexic and dyslexic’s never know their right from their left. And I’ve had terrible trouble and the coaches are going bonkers at me going, ‘Do you know your right from your left?’. ‘I do, just give me a moment on this and I’ll get it’.’
Despite finding the show challenging she admitted that she loves taking part in it. ‘Learning to skate has been fabulous. I’ve got bruises everywhere but learning to skate – amazing,’ she revealed.
See how Anthea gets on when Dancing On Ice starts tonight at 6.15pm.
