Hauppauge, a worldwide leader in developing and manufacturing PC based TV tuners and data broadcast receiver products, have announced game capture compatibility with the Wii U, the first High Definition console from Nintendo.
The Wii U can be easily connected to the HD PVR2 via the supplied HDMI cable. Game play can then be captured and recorded whilst gamers are playing on a TV monitor in 1080p High Definition with no ‘delay pass-through.
All recording made by the HD PVR2 are in H.264, the video format used to make HD Blu-ray discs so recording are of the highest quality and the perfect way to showcase performance.

The HD PVR2 is supplied with ArcSoft Showbiz software featuring record and YouTube upload buttons so video can be quickly and easily uploaded directly to YouTube.
