Rising stars Vincent Mason & Gavin Adcock unite for heartfelt new duet ‘Almost Gone’

Rising country artists Vincent Mason and Gavin Adcock have teamed up to deliver an unforgettable heartbreak anthem ‘Almost Gone,' now available on all streaming platforms. Written by Mason, Adcock, and collaborators Jack Hummel, Jack Rauton, and Chase McDaniel, the track blends authentic storytelling with captivating melodies, marking a standout moment for both singer-songwriters.

A Tale of Lingering Heartache

‘Almost Gone' captures the emotional tension of a relationship on the edge, with lyrics exploring the ache of unspoken goodbyes: “She ain't said goodbye, but I ain't heard ‘I love you' in a minute.” Featuring Mason and Adcock’s complementary drawls and a hint of wistful whistling, the song strikes a delicate balance between vulnerability and resilience.

“We definitely have a different style, but we found common ground on this song,” Mason shared. “Gavin is such a talented writer and singer, and after being on tour together all year, it was a no-brainer to record a song together.”

Blending Voices and Styles

While both artists are known for their high-energy performances, ‘Almost Gone' showcases their ability to tap into a more introspective side. The track’s raw lyrics and melodic sincerity allow their voices to harmonise seamlessly, proving that they’re as compelling in quieter moments as they are on stage.

The song tells a timeless story of love and loss but offers a fresh perspective, making it relatable yet distinct. Entertainment Focus has already praised Mason as being “on a path to become one of the genre’s most promising new voices,” and ‘Almost Gone' only solidifies that sentiment.

On Tour and On the Rise

The release of ‘Almost Gone' follows a whirlwind year for both artists. Mason is wrapping up the current leg of Adcock’s 2024 Tour and is set to join Riley Green’s ‘Damn Country Music Tour' in 2025. His smash hit from his latest EP ‘Can't Just Be Me,' ‘Hell is a Dance Floor' has been a huge breakout moment, garnering millions of streams. Mason has toured alongside Parker McCollum,  Ashley Cooke, and Niko Moon, and has been direct support for Gavin Adcock's entire summer and fall tours.

Adcock, meanwhile, continues to ride the wave of his record-breaking debut album ‘Actin’ Up Again' released in August 2024 under his own label, Thrivin Here Records LLC, and Warner Music Nashville. The album debuted as the highest-streaming major-label Country debut from a solo male artist this year, raking in over 15 million on-demand streams in its first week alone.

Key tracks from ‘Actin’ Up Again' include hits like ‘Four Leaf Clover,' ‘Sweetheart' and ‘Sober,' each of which surpassed 1 million streams in release week. Standout songs ‘A Cigarette' and ‘Run Your Mouth' crossed the 2 million stream mark, with Billboard highlighting the latter for its Southern rock influences and edgy vocals. To date, the album boasts over 300 million total streams.

A Collaboration for the Books

‘Almost Gone' is more than just a song—it’s a testament to the power of collaboration in country music. Both Vincent Mason and Gavin Adcock continue to establish themselves as rising stars with an unmatched ability to connect through their music.
