‘Senna', a limited series about the motor racing great Ayrton Senna, is coming to Netflix on 29th November 2024.
The 6-episode series stars Gabriel Leona as Senna and Matt Mella as his main rival on the tracks Alain Prost.
‘Senna' will, for the first time, depict the journey of overcoming obstacles, ups and downs, joys, and sorrows of Ayrton, exploring his personality and personal relationships. The starting point will be the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion's racing career when he moved to England to compete in Formula Ford, all the way to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.
The series is written by Álvaro Campos, Gustavo Bragança, Rafael Spínola, Thais Falcão and Álvaro Mamute, with Gustavo Bragança as the head writer. It is directed by Vicente Amorim and Júlia Rezende, and Vicente Amorim is the showrunner and director.
