The Long Road festival adds more artists & announces Don McLean as headliner

The Long Road Festival, the UK’s premier destination for country, Americana, and roots music enthusiasts, has just dropped its second wave of lineup additions for the upcoming summer extravaganza. Following the buzz generated by the initial announcement, excitement is mounting as the festival gears up to welcome music lovers to Stanford Hall, Leicestershire, nestled in the picturesque English countryside, from August 23rd to 25th, 2024.

Taking center stage as the headliner for this year’s festivities is none other than the iconic American singer-songwriter, Don McLean. With a repertoire that includes timeless classics like “American Pie” and “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night),” McLean’s music embodies the essence of the American experience, resonating with audiences worldwide. Making his only UK live appearance at The Long Road Festival, McLean’s Saturday performance promises to be a highlight, enchanting fans with all their favourite tunes.

Notably, The Long Road Festival will proudly showcase queer country artists Katie Pruitt and Brooke Eden, alongside rising stars like Toby Sebastian, known for his role in Game of Thrones. Returning favorites Gangstagrass will bring their unique blend of hip hop and bluegrass back to the stage, while The Round Up will highlight UK talent including Dolly Mavies, Gasoline & Matches, and Joe Martin.
